cluein.me is a client portal for web designers, freelancers, and small agencies. It collects client briefings, files, and approvals through one secure link — clients never need an account. It is developed in Hannover, Germany.

Kristian founded cluein.me after watching designers chase clients across email threads, chat apps, and file-sharing links for the same missing logo. He is responsible for product and engineering, and reviews the guides published on the blog.

The product does one job well: getting complete briefings and assets out of clients without friction. No CRM, no task boards, no feature bloat.
Security and privacy by default
Portal links are tokenized and stored only as hashes, uploads are validated server-side, and all data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt) for GDPR compliance.
Honest, transparent AI
AI is limited to an optional briefing quality score. It never messages your clients, never changes statuses, and can be turned off entirely.
